Becoming a PERGUBI Member

Membership is open to professors at Indonesian higher-education institutions, at home and abroad. You register once, and the Secretariat then verifies your application through eight stages.

The following three categories meet the membership requirements.

  • Category 01

    Serving Professors

    Serving professors at Indonesian public or private universities.

  • Category 02

    Emeritus and Retired

    Emeritus or retired professors still active in scholarly contribution.

  • Category 03

    Professors Abroad

    Indonesian professors serving at universities abroad.

The membership form requires an account. Your application is kept under it, and that is where you track its progress.

What the Secretariat Does

Eight Verification Stages

These follow submission. Five of them determine whether your application is valid.

Must pass Must pass before an application can be marked verified. After verification Takes place after the application is marked verified. Now in effect Dues for 2021–2025 are waived for professors who have not yet transferred. Dues from 2026 onward are mandatory. The amount and destination account are announced by the Secretariat.

Each stage is recorded with its timestamp. If something needs fixing, you receive a specific reason, not merely a notice that the application was declined, and you may resubmit the same application.

Your Personal Data

  • Identity numbers are stored with AES-256 encryption and readable only by verifiers.
  • Email, phone, and address never appear on any public page.
  • Your profile appears in the directory only if you consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Withdrawing publication consent removes your profile from the directory immediately.
